By the way, I'm trying to figure out how to redirect this blogger homepage to the new site as well as the old permalinks. From what I've read, it seems possible, just far too complicated for my technologically challenged self. Anyone have any tips?

I don't use blogger but I just tried a test page to see if meta redirects work here. It looks like it works fine.

Go to "Layout" and then "Edit HTML" and after the the <head> tag put in another line with:
<meta content='5;url=http://yosoyblog.com/' http-equiv='refresh'/>
This waits 5 seconds and then redirects the browser to http://yosoyblog.com/. You can make it more or less than 5 seconds but that breaks the back button in some browsers (you get stuck on the second page since the first page keeps kicking you forward.)

Oh, err, you mentioned permalinks too. That may be more complicated.
